Summer!

Sorry it's been so long but Kyle and I have just been having way too much fun! So BYU-H has this weird thing they do two condensed summer sessions in the summer. Each of the sessions is half of a normal semester (7 weeks) but there is a 5 week break in between them. It's kind of controversial around here but it's been great for us! I wouldn't be able to graduate so quickly if it wasn't for the two condensed semesters. The 5 week break kinda came so fast that once it came, we really didn't have anything planned. I really wanted to go to Texas...but Kyle really wanted to get an internship...but we really wanted to go on a honeymoon...but none of it panned out. So here comes the 5 week break and we watch movies, go to the beach, and eat all day. At first it kind of drove me insane because I didn't know what to do with myself but I finally learned to just enjoy it! This is actually Kyle and I's first summer together. Our first summer Kyle was away being a counselor at a boys camp and the second summer he came here (Hawaii) to do school and I was in Texas. It will probably be the last time in a very long time that we will be able to spend this much quality time together. I just feel so blessed that Kyle and I have the opportunity to live in such a beautiful place and especially thankful that our parents are so supportive and encourage us to have as much fun as we can. Life is pretty much perfect right now, and that's saying a lot coming from a cynic like me.

My favorite lunch spot!

Happy Birthday Lorraine!
We went to this restaurant at the Marriott in Ko'Olina called Azul. It's this award winning authentic Italian restaurant. It was amazing! My fettuccine was home made...home made! While we were there I couldn't help but take pictures of the hotel too. It was to die for! It was so lovely to be with the fam and celebrate Lorraine's birthday! (I love birthdays...and Lorraine)
Kyle's plate
My plate. Don't worry, nobody at the fancy restaurant saw me taking pictures of the food.

We kind of neglected the laundry...

Exploring the west side. We found this random cave on the side of the road. It was pretty creepy.

  1. Do people ever think Aunt Lorraine is your mom? She is the cutest human.
